As a small, independent boutique villa rental specialist with a passion for travel, we believe time away should offer a genuine sense of escape — slower days, calmer surroundings, and the freedom to simply be.
Created by Sarah Martin and Michael Martin, Chilled Retreats brings this philosophy to life through years of experience discovering and curating exceptional escapes across some of the Mediterranean’s most sought-after destinations.

Our mission is simple - helping other like-minded travel and lifestyle lovers find spellbinding places to stay. Where life and horizons broaden, where mornings begin slowly and sunset suppers run late, where time is more generous and days are spent barefoot and carefree.
Your journey begins with an initial enquiry and from there we curate every detail - from our tailored recommendations, to crafting a bespoke quotation and securing your ideal boutique bolthole. We represent a selection of luxurious self-catering holiday homes with stories in their walls, places where you'll create your own special stories with memories that linger. Sometimes they are glorious traditional fincas, sometimes modern sanctuaries, but all are soul-filled spaces for sharing, whether in the middle of nowhere or the heart of somewhere but they’ll never be generic or boring!

Our Approach
We keep our portfolio intentionally small and niche, being boldly choosy. We work with a select few private homes that stand out from the crowd and offer truly special holiday escapes for discerning travellers. Purveyors of fabulous design-led stays, Chilled Retreats properties are much more than a standard holiday home, each has its own unique style, ensuring a stay becomes an experience.
Finding amazing rentals is incredibly time consuming, even stressful! We sort the wheat from the chaff and provide a refreshing antidote to spending hours trawling the tide of enormous and lacklustre holiday rental websites.
From the very first conversation, our small team draws on a genuine understanding of your vision and desires. We will open the door to the retreat you’ve been dreaming of but were struggling to find. We don't just book properties, we unlock experiences!
